Our “French Roast” is truly our take on the darkest a coffee should ever be roasted. We look to add rich roasty notes but never dominate the coffee flavors with a “burnt” impression. Roasting can add body and some sweetness up to a point, yet the darker one roasts the more true origin flavors disappear and the bitterness intensifies. We aim to bring our French Roast to a peak of flavors with some roasty notes, but with traceable coffee origin flavors still detectable with each sip.

Our darkest roast, French Roast Bolivia ASIPAI Co-op is sweet and mellow with flavors of chocolate, malt and winter stout.
